Community Survey

Dear Aliquippa Community Member,

This is an invitation to participate in a community survey to assist AEDC in moving forward in the next six years. This questionnaire will help us plan what out next steps will be.
As a Community and Economic Development organization, we cannot pave streets, fix trash pickup problems, fix water issues or drainage issues. We can create a better community environment, support local businesses and projects, and create a healthy and safe community.

As you may have noticed, AEDC has completed some projects, such as Franklin Avenue beautification project, the initial Wayfinding signs, the veterans’ banners, multiple demolitions and the Veterans Memorial. We have also supported programs and projects such as the Wellness Festivals, Salivation Army, The Jones Library, Aliquippa Food Council, and funded two beautiful murals in the city. In April 2024, The City of Aliquippa named AEDC the Local Revitalization Organization (LRO) for the Aliquippa. Along with the many things we will continue, we will also work close with the county to support Franklin Avenue business district in this process.

This questionnaire has been created to help AEDC create the next six-year plan and to help determine what the community concerns are. We are looking at several ideas, to include West Aliquippa, better street signage (we did order new streets signs for all the streets, coming in the spring), public health and safety, and support programs which support the community.

We would like your thoughts on what you think the priorities should be. Please complete the following questionnaire and feel free to add any other comments at the end of the form. We are very interested in your thoughts. Use the back of the paper if needed.

You may return via email at the address above, mail it to the address above, drop it off (there is a mail slot in the side door if we are not here) or complete the survey online at Aliquippaedc.org.
We thank you for your time and effort in this process.
